February 20, 1982 - WRLH FOX Richmond signs on as Richmond's first commercial independent television station. With shows like Wonder Woman, The Wild Wild West, I Love Lucy and the original Start Trek, we really were "Prime Time All The Time" as our slogan said.
August 1986 - WRLH earned its place as a competitive local market affiliate by joining the FOX Broadcasting Network.
September 15, 1988 - ACT III Broadcasting purchased WRLH and the assets of Richmond's independent station, WVRN Channel 63. The merger of the two stations was the first of its kind in the history of American broadcasting.
February 1991 - WRLH was recognized and honored nationally by the FOX Network as the "Fastest Growing FOX Affiliate" in the country.
September 19, 1994 - Fox News At Ten launches as Richmond's first prime time newscast.
February 1998 - WRLH FOX Richmond is acquired by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., the largest Independent television broadcast company.
July 2005 - WRLH FOX Richmond honored by FOX Network as the #1 Primetime station in the Richmond, VA market during the '04-05 season.
July 2006 - WRLH FOX Richmond again honored by FOX Network as the #1 Primetime station in the Richmond, VA market during the '05-06 season.
